actually i think i do we tinted my windows the right way imo (removing all door panels and third brake light completly) if you gently lift up the front of the rear panel closest to you with your knees in the back seat then pull out just a little to unplug the whole third brake light ***.it gives you axcess to the sub where you should be able to un bolt it lift one side an free the sub

OH PLEASE!!! Someone please put up picstures of removing the factory 10?
I need to get that out to port the cabin with the trunk.... The car is so well soundproof, I'm afraid I'll shake the tail-lights out trying to feel my new bass up front.
I need to create an airway between the two to get anything out of it. I want to hear it; it's for me - not for all the cars nearby...

there are 2 buttons under the rear seat push them and pull the seat , then on the bottom you will see 3 screws holding the back part
one on each side and one in the middle

Hey Dav!
I was looking under the seat and the are like two little metal eye-holes that can be pushed outwards (looks like a thick coat-hanger wire or something). Is that what You are talking about? Is it a newer model S class You are working with or an older one?
I am a scaredy-cat when it comes to stuff like this. Am I sounding right so far?
Thanks, CHunter32

so did anyone ever take pictures on how to remove the stock subwoofer? I have the 4 place seating which I am sure further complicates things but I am notinterested in tearing out the sub, would rather just remove it that it can be placed back in. thanks.
