Wheel/Tire fitment s500

I was wondering since I am buying some new wheels and tires for my car, I wanted to get experts to help me out before I throw my cash away.

I have 225/55/17 right now on both front and rear tires and they are kumho tires which in my personal experience rides really well, but I am getting new wheels which are Lexani LSS-5 and I am getting 20"x8.5" in the front and 20"x10" in the back and was wondering what should me tire size be.. and would they rub against the car?

here are the rims I am thinking of getting.

leave any feedback good or bad i need all i can get and if you want refer me to better/ other tires

You need 245/35/20 in the fron and 275/30/20 in the rear for best fit. Watch the offset on those 10.5 rears as they will poke out too much if they are much less than ET44
You should not have any rubbing issurs especially if you don;t lower it too much. YOu can lower a but and be okay normally with 9.5 rears but 10.5's sre tricky and offset is the key.

great my06clk he should be fine as he's doing 20x10's and not 10.5. Still be careful for the rub on bumps with a car load of people or going over speed bumps.

yea i was worrying about the rubbing with the 20"x10" in the back but was wondering if I just get 20"x8.5" for the front and back would that look good or not dont worry they are not 20"x10.5" they are just 20"x10" and they are 383 per rim and i find that pretty cheap with that IMO they are amazing...

I found a site where I can buy the wheels and tires in a package cost
$ 2,199 which will be cheaper than acutally buying the wheels and tires sperate but if i do will the 20"x8.5" both in the front and back look good? and the tires i'll be receiving with the package are 255/35/20 for both front and back... i am not good with this, kinda my first time actually putting rims on a car and just need all the feedback i can get and not ruin my car.

IMO it's your money and your car. Some of us like the Staggered look and some like the Flush look so you're probably going to get mixed messages. My only advice to you is if you get Asanti's watch out for potholes. 3pc rims hate potholes.

Her's a guide for you. I am running 275 30 20 on my rear and 9.5 wheels. My offset if 46 and my wheels are juuuust to the inside of my fender and they came rolled.I am running NItto555's right now BTW.

If I were to keep the exact same setup and go with a 10" rear whell that meanse that I will close the distance between the wheel and my fender by appox. 1/4 inch. This means I MAY rub since I'm low IF i have a sqaare tire. The Nitto has a round profile so I may be alright.

THe deal is though, rub or not, if I want the same look, the offset of my 10" wheel can't be 46.
Offset is measured in mm but tire width is measured in inches so I have to figure my new offset.
As i already know 1mm = about 3/16 of an inch that means if my 10" wheel has an offset of 48, It would measure out to about 3/8ths so that would make a +1/8ths width difference than using a 9.5" wheel instead of the +1/4 i get with the Et46.
1/4 inch may not seem like much but can be a BIG factor on whether or not you scrape the letters off your tires.

So based on that I KNOW for sure a 10" wheel would work as long as the offset is at Et48. a Et46 is questionable, and a Et44at the rear is a waste that is perfect for a 8.5 .20 in the front.

The truth is, there is not much gain in using a 10" wheel over a 9.5, but contrarily if the offset is correct, there is not much of a loss either.

well thanks for all the info here yea if ur saying so i think i might just keep the 8.5 not 10 then and the tires I am getting might me Kumho if i do not buy it together but if i buy the bulk combo i am getting 255/35/20 for both and front and back and thinking it will look good..

Of course it will.. Staggering is mostly for look nothing more.. I'm borderline thinking they are more trouble than they are worth LOL but I have a full set of 8.5 becauwe thats the way I did before I went staggered.
Speaking of hich I also had a set od Kuhmo's in a 245 35 20. I have to say that after about 5K they were really noisy and I got rid of them for the Nittos which lasted a lot longer ( a year ) before they started me shopping ( now).

But hey give them a try don't just listen to me im really picky when it comes to tires.. I'm on a quest to go through every tire till I find one that I care to repeat. This kittos are close, Khumo;s definetly not a repeat for me.I think Im going to splurge on a set of michelins this time around to the tune of about 1200.00 and see what i've been missing.LOL.

Khumo's are not good on 20's at all. You "will" hear the tires inside your car. You asked for advice and that's what you've been given. But try the Khumo's and good luck if that's what you want.

I'm running Falken FK452's. Fronts are 255/35/20 on 8.5" rims. Rears are 275/30/20 on 9.5" rims. Smooth ride, no noticeable noise and very good handling. I remember paying around $250 each.
