unlock DVD when in motion!
Hi everyone,
I had recently read the thread by KENNETH posted on April 2007 about how he can unlock the TV monitor when the car in motion, and my MB is exactly the model he mention, it's Euro imported, 2004 S350L with a widescreen, I try to follow the procedure, but nothing happened after some 45sec to hold 'Mute' + 'Phone' + 'Serv' I really... really... want to make it work, I know many members too, so any thoughts to share???

IMO I don't think anyone would tell you how to do it on this forum if it could be done. You're better off doing an aftermarket unit some one on here did a nice one with the modded woodgrain I think it was S500Man.

i think people would tell fellow forum members how to do it if they knew how or if there was a way to do it. its not like we are all a bunch of crazy jealous maniacs that wouldn't tell a fellow MB owner how to make their car better. people around here are pretty helpful for the most part and wouldn't keep that type of thing secret.

I agree but I've noticed on another forum someone stated not at all would we tell. Anyways I don't know of anyone who has DVD viewing on standard commands. I know you can play DVD's of MP3's but thats about it.

It just boggles my mind why people refuse to accept the fact that NONE of the S class cars 04-06 in the US allow dvd in motion.
regardless to how many threads of research (we) have done to prove this fact or fiction, now were being accused of not sharing information? please with that drama.

Anyway, thanks guys for all your opinion, I'll will keep trying to see if any luck with my Euro MB, since I had found the secret menu already, also I'll give it a thoughts on aftermarket product, but honestly I still prefer to keep the stock and make it work....
