Trunk open half way
Is the trunk suppose to opn just the half way,, not full? My 2003 S430 trunk is only openning half way not alll the way.

The springs on each side of the trunk under the plastic covers are adjustable.
turn one clockwise and the other counterclockwise to get mor action on the spring.

You can adjust it either way
go to settings
I believe its under convenience
scroll through till you get to "trunk height limiter"
Turn limiter to off.

That should do it.

For reference, I believe this only works with the electronic trunk closer.

Thanks. Where can I find the "Conveience" mode? Is it in Command system?

This is only available if you have the elecronic trunk closer option on your car.

In the instrument cluster menu. Navigate to the Settings menu with the steering wheel buttons and then navigate through the Settings menu to Convenience with the other steering wheel buttons. If all else fails, read the manual.

Thanks guys. I did find the section in manual on "Trunk open limiter" All you have to do is press the trunk button on the door for 5sec to reset the limiter.
