Whatever the number, judging by the values, it was too many!

Seriously..... There is probably a contact through MB's web site who could dig up the data for you.

German vehicles stink, will never buy again. Moved on to Toyota and BYD.
I read somewhere that the W220 was the best selling Mercedes ever. It's funny cuz I never notice them but always notice the number of 92-99 W140's on the road.

I am curious to know how many S600's were made.

04 CL & S600 designo Espresso's
The only thing that I know, and it's from a cool aluminum encased napa leather covered & bound European "designo" sales booklet (you don't get that in the US for sure) that I purchased from Ebay in UK, it states that no more than 250 to be produced for each model, so there are 250 or less 2004 S600 designo Edition's manufactured worldwide, not sure how many in the US. Not that that helps too much. I also tried to get more info, but it seems to be some bizarre well kept secret, no sure why.

408 seems kindof low... I would have thought a lot more given that soo many are on sale (especially in Chicago).
