I know people who paid this much just to replace bushings. This is on the other hand is the whole deal. I'm curious of the quality though. Has anyone ever dealt with deutschepartsusa? Are their parts legit or will I have to replace everything again in a year? I priced out other parts sites and the same stuff will cost around $2,000.

$719 is fair to get that "virgin" feel back, but only if it lasts.

I really need that kit also. They said they will do a GB. Claim quality is better than OEM.. I believe them.

Could be an oem supplier to Lada or trabant or something.

No doubt, the price is great but no one seems to have installed anything from this seller yet.

My guess is 2 hours max for each wheel since everything is bolt on.

Bought a complete front end rebuild from them two years ago for my BMW 750iL.

Did all the work myself but the alignment. Parts are all German made, had the look and feel of the OEM parts, and went in without a hitch.

Most importantly, I've put 35k on the car since, and everything is still tight.

Cost me 25% of buying OEM.

Okay, maybe you can elaborate for me. I never understood why all those heavy, big, thick metal parts need to be replaced? How do they "wear out" ? Do they deform over time, maybe just slightly, and cause some kind of vibration etc.. ?

I can understand what you mean by "virgin" feeling, but what are you talking about exactly? The steering is going to be tight and smooth? Less vibration on the road?

That's great! And the feedback that Gondon posted is great also, we know these guys are not full of ****.

I called them a while back about setting up an account with them to buy with discount. They offered me 10% off, but said the more I buy the cheaper the stuff will get.

So, they will do a group buy with us. We need people to sign up.

My recommendation would be to also replace your spindles/hubs/bearings when you do this.

I replaced one side and my cost was about 1200 including labor this was done at a indy. i ended up keeping the parts because i was hoping to buy replacement bushings incase it goes out again. Other then the rubber pieces the parts are in perfect condition. The dealer told me they do not sell bushing because they have to be machined in and you cannot just slide them in. personally I truly believe that this is a ploy to force you to spend more money on the whole part then replacing the bushings to them.
because if that was the case they should give you credit if you return the items, like a battery core.

Vibration and bumps from potholes and all that other crap on the road. The ride will be smoother overall.

Yes the way the shop shows me is that their supposed to be stiff, but when they get old they move around easily. Plus I bet the steering can get only better too.

I was diagnosed with bad control arms when I got the car at 64k Miles, now Im at 80k . Smooth on the highways but driving on roads with bumps damn. But I know I feel everything on the road. I drove Nick's(S5Lorinser) and its so damn smooth, mine feels like its on Sport 10 suspension setting.

a piece of aluminum is not going to loosen up.

The bushings, bearings, etc will deteriorate, but the actual piece of aluminum is perfectly fine.

That said, I'd rather buy the whole deal for a bit more and bolt it on as opposed to having to press the bearing/bushing into the parts.

More so for the bushings because not all of them can be replaced. I'm sure the metal parts are fine unless they sustain accident damage. When I say "virgin" I mean "tight" and not "loose" . Tight steering and more sure footed suspension feel without the noises and "thunks" over bumps.

I know I need tie rod ends and lower control arms so far. The rest is "might as well". The laundry list of other needed parts are growing, so I'm still on the fence for this, although cheap.

Those of you that are considering on ordering, double check your part numbers. I looked mine up and the LCAs are different (Specific to the CL). Also, I believe the LCAs are different if you have ABC. I emailed them a list of parts for a custom quote.

What are Tie Rods for?

I was just diagnosed with needed Lower Control Arms..Upper Control arms I think last very long.

They connect to the steering knuckle and steer the car. When the bushings at the end wear, you get some side-to-side play at the wheels and an unprecise, on-center steering feel. #15 in the diagram is the outer tie rod. #10 is the inner tie rod.

i re-did my rear susp with deutsce parts , works great. my indy was also happy with quality and now orders stuff from them.

I emailed them and they do sell individual parts. Unfortunately for me though, they don't have the LCAs for the CL. I will likely get the tie rods from them as they're very reasonably priced.
