wife wont buy it-S63

someone backed into our 2003 S500 so we took it to fletcher jones for a estimate.i was hoping to get the wife to try the S63 AMG and see if she would give up her old S500.the car was a 2009 with 8k miles on it,absolutely loaded black on black.to my amazement she said the AMG seats felt to confining the fabric on the headliner looked like fuzzy felt and the console joystick was confusing.the poor salesmen and i were both wondering what does this girl want?.than she tells me,a "BENTLEY",i cant imagine jumping the fence to a bentley after all these years.anyone familiar with the reliability of these cars?.she said that we will keep the S500 so that i can remain a member of MBWorld!

Get her a S600 it will be more comfortable girls don't need AMGs anyways. AMG seats do feel a little tight and im pretty skinny especially with the side bolsters jabbing at you.

We tune the Bentleys and every one we have had in seems to be good and reliable. They are great to tune as well!

i was gonna get a 5 day "walk away if you dont like it".it would have cost me 1k and no more than 500 miles on the car.the car had a original sticker of 156k,a client bought it and put 8k miles on it and then returned it and supposedly got another car.they were asking 123k but im sure i could have gotten them down into the low teens.anyway im kind of relieved that we didnt do it,thats alot of cash!i love to buy MB's but there is allways a little remorse afterwards.lets face it if we all invested our car $ into somthing with a return alot of us would be alot more secure.im still not to the point that buying these cars is simply a cost of doing business.i simply love owning/driving excellence.

I totally understand, Ive always bought my cars cash and Im the type that gets tired of thing quick so I always keep my cars for no more then a year. Then when I sell them I end up losing half of what I paid. Just like my S430, I had it for 4 months and Im already trying to sell it.
