Changing Front Brake Pads on 2006 S430
Either use your hands, or a set of needle nose pliers and pull it out by the plastic. It should come out fairly easy. New sensors are anywhere from $7-$15. Take the new sensor and carefully insert the small plastic end back into the pad, and the side that has two holes back into the caliper and your done.
I owned previously a 1997 S320 and had no difficulty swapping out the pads. I have been unable to figure out how to get access to the 2006 S430 pads.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Where exactly are the two bolts? I found two rubberized caps that cover Allen-wrench-type bolts at each end of the caliper. If you have a photo, that would be helpful.

I'll see if I can find pics or if you can take a pic of yours and I'll point out what u have to remove.
I "found" the two bolts holding the brake caliper. The bolts are so tight that I could not loosen them. I'm letting Mercedes-Benz Manhattan (the manufacturer-owned dealer at which I bought this car) change the brake pads this time so that they can unfreeze the bolts.
Thanks again.
