Help...Lowering Ride Height

Hello
i want to lower the ride height about 1". I see where it can be done and have used the DAS SIM with success, however i realized that putting any numbers in the SIM are a success. I wanna do it right the first time and need to know the proper Romess inclination angle degrees with corespondent signal range voltage to continue. i also need the factory settings just in case i want to go back to original setting. I did a search with no results.
thanks, Todd

You will not find any Romess angles or voltages on the forum. It usually does not get that deep here.

Unfortunatelly every car is different and you'll need to get yourself a Romess gauge to properly lower and calibrate the suspension.

I know people lower the car with DAS without using the Romess inclinometer, but I'm not sure how they know the values without the gauge.

thanks Oxygen,
by the way, you ride is really sweet. well i guess i need to find someone who's done it with the das. i cant afford a romess tool after paying for the das i saw posts of someone willing to do it for a fee with their das! guss i will have to find tat person. or maybe someone can PM me with specifics
just that i am a diyer and rathe do it myself. hopefully someone here will be kind enough to share the secret. it seem more technical problems or fixes have been shared here and thats why we are all here i guess. all i need is the factory settings to get it back to normal if i screw up ( if someone is willing to share it) and i will tinker with the das until i get the desired height!
thank again

E500
I also lowered my ride (E500) with Star. I had no idea of what to set the angles to so i just took the middle value within the specified range. I put 3.2 for the front corners and (-)1.2 for the rear corners.

I have no clue of how these values will effect the vehicle but my desire to lower the vehicle out weighed the possible consequences. It was a nervous moment i must admit.

No ill effects as of yet.

From stock ride height - I went (-)17mm all around and the ride looks sick. no issues with bottoming out or fault codes. I'm running 20X8.5 ET20 all around.

The rears are tucked in perfectly and fronts, although not completely tucked, are not effected by normal suspension movements. I just need to be careful of suspension movements in turns.

Hope this helps!! nothing to it but to do it!

THANKS!!! These settings worked great for my CLS55 w/ stock wheels. Thanks for posting and not for being a hater like some people on these boards.
