Unhappy 00 s430 ac not working...

Hey guys, my 2000 s430's air conditioning works intermittently, in other words, whenever it feels like, it doesn't blow air at all, but when it does, it's cold as ice. I went into the system and found error code B1734. My question is what part would I need to fix this issue? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you find that there code on your own scanner? Google search that code to find out what it could be. Hope this link helps.

My list of DTC doesnt have code B1734

Its probably the blower regulator causing the intermittent blower fault.

If the blower starts up when you hit bumps, it may the the blower motor brushes.

No I held down mute 1-3 for 9 secs and got into the display, found error code b1734 but it gives no more info regarding this error. I will check google.

Thanks for the blower regulator suggestion i'll do more research and let you know.

No, there is no change whenever i hit bumps or not. i'll call the dealer and see how much they want, then i'll call a shop or two around here for it.
Thanks so much for your input, i'm pretty confident this is the culprit.

when the a/c does not come on when you press the "0" button. it may come on 2 seconds to a whole day before coming on. then that means the blower regulator is bad. in my case when it does not come on, i hit the underside of the dash on the passenger side(under the glove compartment) and the a/c comes on. i heard somewhere that that means the blower motor is missing a few teeth. I'll know for sure once i pull it out and inspect it.
