Blown Tire on Highway Pops the Air Strut!!
btw - It is an 2003 S430
why? I have no idea. I'm pretty sure this is not a required step unless you have bind in the suspension.
In fact, I'm not sure you even have to remove the upper link to hub bolt to get the strut out.
I'm sure some people with experience will chime in.

I did some research, and it looks like you will need to pop the upper link to hub off to get the new strut in.
The parts he tightens at the end is the lower control arm bolts.
