My "photoshoot" attempt of my S500

Decided to take pics of my S500 tonight. The grill thats on it came with the car, It doesnt look to bad on the car I guess, I will however buy the factory grill in the near future and have it color matched (kind of like a blacked out look) since my car does look black in the dark.

It's been a while since I'd taken out the camera and shot, so I was a little rusty. took me about 20 minutes to start getting the right shutter speed and white balance going and as you can see they still did not come out perfect. Any photography pros feel free to chime in on the pics, I do believe they are somewhat over exposed and off on the white balance (i guess depending on the look you want to go with). The pictures tend to look a lot better on the small LCD screen lol.

Is that a factory color or custom? First time seeing that color. Looks great, congrats.

Love the color, nice pics. Don't take offense to my next comment, just a suggestion. Ever considered having her professionally detailed? You can see evidence of some swirls and marring in the flash reflection. Sweet ride!

I don't have anything to add regarding your photography, but someone has done a great job with your car. Leave it!!

I tend toward being a "purist" (not completely) - but your mods are some of the most tasteful I have seen.

If you're going to change out the grille, go to original - silver. Also restore the raised MB Star hood ornament if you go back to stock.

Your car's color is one of my favorites - I have seen it, and it's gorgeous.

thanks for the comments everyone. It's a factory color (almandine black), and yesss! no offence taken! This car does need a good detailing. Believe it or not I have yet to find someone who can actually do a good job. I've been meaning to spend some time on the autopia forums to see if I can find a pro locally.
