RIP 2000 Mercedes-Benz S430 - September 29th, 1999 to July 5th, 2010
When I arrived home I absolutely lost it, considering all of the memories I had from it with many trips and experiences the S-Class has given me. From the looks, it looks like damage is about 15-20K (that's what I've been hearing from here - I have to wait for the insurance to see what happens) and it looks like the car will be announced totaled. I don't know about what car will replace it, but I believe it will be an SUV since we need some extra room...poor Mercedes.
The car lived a hero...and unfortunately it was killed during rest with 75,000 miles. Funny enough, its A Service and brake change was scheduled the day after hehe..

Id recommend buying the salvage car from your insurance company and putting it on ebay, you can usually buy it out for $500 or so, Id imagine youll get 3-4k on ebay.
What was the deal with the driver? Drunk?
it's one thing to wreck it yourself... but when someone else smashes your ride and you have no control over it... ugh! the frustration! good luck with your next ride!

The insurance guy came today and he was like, "YOU AGAIN?!?!" For some reason, this car keeps getting into accidents that were caused by someone else.
One time was when a guy sudden made an illegal u-turn and we crashed into him, sending him into a tree.
Then the next month, a big canvas covers gets blown by the wind and hits our rear door, three days after we got it out of the body shop.
After that, there was a lady who t-bones the front left door and then comes out crying, "Look what you've done to my car!", even when it was her fault!
Then there was this, when it was crashed into when parked in the driveway at 5AM
Is this car cursed lol?

yes take the 18k, but also ask if you can buy the salvaged car.... usually they will sell it back to you as a salvaged total loss car for $500-1000.
And then you can part it out for far more, or ebay it.

got home and it was all messed up! Hope all goes well with you tho!
