S500 1997 + S600 2005
S600....New toy
Guys and señoritas…
Finally, I bought a 2005 S600 black/black AMG, got it today, not very
familiar with it yet, issues setting up the lights and such. Following the manual, with the smart key, and all lights out, if I open the driver’s door there is an annoying beeping, and cluster lights on, why the beeping? No smart key inserted, can't find the solution. ….. Just wishing to set it up like the S500 1997, which I still own .
A couple of small dings and minor scratch/blemishes, otherwise generally OK.
If I said it was an opportunity purchase, the opportunity was probably for the used car dealer, he may have seen me coming. Hehehehehe. Not really… Who knows!!!. A bit over $22,000, with 80,000 miles (that we know of).
Without a doubt, some one will most likely say, “Oh man, you could have bought a blah blah for a mere blah blah “ just to make my day, Hehehehe, I can handle it.
Any way, after thanking all the contributors who come here to lend a hand...... That is my two cents for the day. Be well everybody.

It would not be a problem to post a pic or two, but really, the car is not any different than the many black 220 you've seen around, nothing special just a larger engine with greater potential of a more copious bill if at the shop.

Great car! Did you get a warranty? Get one if not, you'll end up spending more down the road for stuff that goes with time, especially on an S600. (I have an S55 2001, so take it from my experience)
