I saw some tailights on a 2003 s-class that were all blacked out except the 3 lines for the reverse lights(they were white). I dont think tint was put on them to look like that but i could be wrong. Please let me know if you have any info on that

 

thats usually how people do it..they either black out the red and leave the reverse white or vice versa, black the reverse and leave the red how it is....and then theres the people who just black out everything.

imo when you leave the reverse white it looks sickk

 

I've only seen people pull it off on black cars so far.

Speaking of which I just checked it on Ebay and this guy is using my car to advertise his ugly lights on Ebay, This is back when I had the 18" AMG's. Im guessing he photoshopped the lights on.

 

It was probably tinted using VHT nightshades, I used it for my mirror turn signals. Came out great. Some people also get them painted.

 

I've seen a couple of cars with these on.. IMO they're ugly, i would much rather leave the originals or atleast smoke them a bit.

 

+1..smoked stock ones look much nicer than aftermarket ones..plus idk if its only me, but all the aftermarket "blacked out" ones ive seen look grey
