yours are 5%? Did a window tint shop install and apply their certification sticker? If not- you may be stuck- If the shop told you these were in compliance you need to see what they say. So a 25% means at least 25% of light must pass through.... Did the law change?

im originally from seattle wa and got the tint there, i figured itd be a matter of time until i get a ticket here, just didnt know if i could get away with replacing 2 front windows and leave 5% on the rest of windows, i called Daddy's tint shop here in texas which maybe u might know them, they said they would have to see about my tint but usually he said its the 2 front windows that need 25%..

i actually was planning on removing this really dark tint and get 3m color stable or 3m crystalline depending on price, i mainly wanted the tint for protection of interior.. having the cheap 5% tint in seattle was the only option at the time that met my budget, now i need quality tint.. any suggestions?? im open to it, thanks for response!!

the guy seemed really polite, im headed there tomorrow and getting it done asap but not too sure if i should pay more for the crystalline vs color stable 3m brand - also too in seattle, the tint shop carried huper optik but was charging both my arms and legs for it.. so as of right now im undecided
