FS: 2004 S600 full Brabus car

Some of you that know me know how much time and energy I've spent with this car. I planned on keeping it (finally) but have to let it go as my wife is forcing me to buy a new house. Well, maybe 'forcing' is too strong a word, let's just say she's WAY enthusiastic about it, and I am too.

Anyhow, the car is a stunner, and I have spent untold amounts of money to truly make it 100%. Anyone that knows the time and energy (and money) I spend on my cars will vouch for me. I do not sell needy cars, and I fix everything that needs fixing, including doing proactive maintenance, to make sure the buyers of my cars can just drive and enjoy. Clean carfax, service history and recent work documentation included, etc.

This car is a 2004 S600, 040 black/black, with 65K miles. It has the FULL Brabus treatment, which back in 2005 cost $26,500 from Brabus, NOT INCLUDING the ECU tune.

My car has parking sensors, dynamic/ventilated front seats, and all the usual S600 equipment as well (bi-xenons, rear electric/heated seats, nav, rear power shade, etc etc).

The Brabus equipment is as follows:

- Brabus wood/leather sport steering wheel
- Brabus full body kit (front air dam with quad foglights, side skirts with integrated LED puddle lights, rear air dam)
- Brabus cat-back exhaust with quad tips
- Brabus electronic lowering module
- Brabus chromed 19" multi-fin alloy wheels
- Brabus 590HP ECU tune
- Brabus custom headrests with integrated LCD monitors
- Brabus lighted door sills with Brabus logo illuminated in blue
- Brabus custom side-rear electric window shades with integrated switches in the door panels
- Brabus badges, tire-pressure sticker in trunk, etc...all the real stuff
- Brabus burlwood gear shift lever

That, my friends, is how you spend $26,500 at Brabus including paint and installation of all components.

The car looks fantastic. The car drives perfectly. It's fast as hell, yet still smooth. The windows are tinted. Cosmetically the car is in great shape, with lots of recent polishing, painting of front air dam to remove rock chips, etc. Door dings are removed, scratches wet sanded out, it looks like a sheet of black ice.

Mechanically I have spent a lot of time and money at the Benz dealer (where I have a great relationship due to how much work I bring them) sorting the car. This means fixing problems, preventing new problems for the next owner, and doing normal (for an S600) maintenance.

Ths service list is extensive, and if anyone went to a Benz dealer this list would top $22,000!!! All of this work was done in the last 60 days and 500 miles:

- New ABC pump ($1800)
- New L/F ABC strut ($1500)
- New receiver/dryer ($500)
- New COMAND radio head unit (this is, gulp, $4K at a Benz dealer!)
- New duovalve ($665)
- New radiator fan and fan control module ($950)
- New coil packs (both of them, $3000)
- New throttle body and voltage reg for throttle ($2100)
- New trans connector and conductor plate ($975)
- New seat weight sensor and belt latch sensor in passenger seat ($900)
- New trans mount ($225)
- New GPS antenna ($600)
- New trunk latch and wiring for release switch ($475)
- New L/F upstream O2 sensor ($315)
- New front wheel bearings ($600)
- New left-side rear bumper parking sensor ($300)
- New 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear tires ($900)
- New oil filter and Mobil 1 oil ($175)
- New spark plugs (all 24 of them, $885)
- New air filters ($100)
- New hydraulic fluid, filter, and rodeo ($350)
- New trans fluid and filter ($210)
- New R134a A/C system evac and refill ($665)
- Alignment ($115)
- Trunk-mounted Pioneer DVD changer to drive the rear head headrest LCD monitors ($350)

Phew, my credit card is starting to hurt just typing all that out!

Anyhow, I will add pics shortly, and please know that I have prepared this car with an open checkbook to take care of every problem, no matter how small, to make it right.

The price is $26,900 firm. Is that a little high for a 2004 S600 with 65K miles? Yes, a little. But you can look at it this way:

- You're buying the Brabus options on the car for their original price, and I'm throwing in the car for free

OR

- You're paying a very fair price of $23,900 for the car, and getting $25K+ worth of Brabus options AND $22K+ worth of service and maintenance for a combined total of only $3K!

Sure, you can go find a stock one with 65K miles in decent shape for $23.5K or so. But you'll be the guy spending $5K+ in repairs and maintenance in the first year you own it. Then you will have paid more than you would have paid for my car, and you STILL will not have as much work done as was done on my car. AND you will not have any Brabus options, ECU tune, etc. It's a great deal if you appreciate the mods and work that's been done.

If interested please email me at brucem105@comcast.net, or call 856-912-2600.

Garage Temporarily Empty
Bruce will have photos up soon....And he knows what he's doing. If I didn't already have an S600 from Bruce (which I do), I would buy this one in a second. Knowing Bruce's list of contacts, this car will be gone soon.

Thanks guys. No pics yet, can't show car to anyone yet, etc.

Still a wee bit early to mark it sold!

But lots of interest, so I am sure when it's ready to go this week, someone will grab it.

opposite-lock...
Saw it when I was picking up mine from Brucifer (he is, the essence of PURE EVIL)... was prior to much of the ^aformentioned attention^.

It looked great THEN!

The Brabus body kit is pretty cool, def a different look than the typical "AMG Sport" we're accustomed to seeing. It's got a bunch of neat little touches that just make the car so unique.

Someone's gonna be a happy camper w/ a RARE CAR, sorted.

lol @ the sale-suggestions... I 'think' B's sold a car or two or few hundred before 8-)

NOTE: The car in the pics below is NOT MY CAR.

But if you want to see what a nearly identical car (except for wheels) in 040 black looks like, with full Brabus body kit and exhaust, you can see it here:

Hmm, like the back bumper, and the lack of AMG skirts, so tired of those.. but I really don't know about that front bumper with the four parking lights..

It's really hard to beat the AMG package in the looks department.
