You didn't mention if the car was locked or not.

take your registration (or a copy of it) and an ID to the dealer and have them cut you a mechnical key (for your wallet). That will open the trunk and the drivers door. Call them first to find out what you need to give them. You could also purchase a new (electronic) key all they need is the VIN and proof that you own the car. Good Luck

I didn't think about the mechanical key... I can't prove I own the car if my registration is inside the car right?how much is a mechanical key?

IF you have AAA service or a similar service, they might be able to unlock the car. I'm sure it would be much cheaper than a Mercedes roadside service coming out. Purchasing a mechanical key from the dealer might cost more than having someone come out. Either way I would call the dealer and ask them what information/documents they will need in order to produce another mechanical key and at the same time inquire about the cost. Good luck.

In lieu of the registration, take the vehicle title, issued by the state, to the dealer. Or an insurance document.
Cheers,
Jeff

I finally solved my horribles situation. Heres what I did. With the help of a friend.very carefull he pulled the door out enough for me to stick a aluminum meter stick with a fishook at the end. With the charp end of the hook I pick up the lock and opened the door. The alarm went off. I had read that if you hold the trunk button for 30 seconds then disconect some fuses then connect them again the trunk will open and it worked. I was able to get my keys back. Thanks to everyone who helped.

I'm glad to hear that everything worked out for you. When you say a friend pulled the door exactly what do you mean?

Yeah uptop by the roof. You grab the otutter edge of the door and pull out far enough for there to be a space larfe enough for you to stick in a slim object. Then you place an object between the door and the inner part of the car. ( I used a small rubber door holder. Didnt want to damage anything) . Then you fish the lock. It sounds dumb but it worked ot pretty well and I saved my self 150 dollars.
