Help with identification!

I have a late 2000 S500 of which the data card says it had a Nokia phone set up when new. All I have now is a cradle and no wiring. Is there any way of identifying which Nokia it had? The cradle is pretty small IMO, it looks more likely to take a clam shell style phone than the Nokia of that era but I've no idea if this is the case.

It might help a bit if you post a picture of the cradle.

go in the back seat, under the vents facing you in the middle pop it open and see if wires are there then open trunk and see if hardware there, sometimes when you buy a used car, people pull things out to sell, then go on ebay buy replacement parts for the trunk then fine a bluetooth puck thats a very good option.

I have taken the cradle out and underneath, on the wiring loom, was a part number. Searched on google and, sure enough, this is the handset I am missing. Any idea what it is? http://de.picclick.com/TELEFON-NOKIA...046825454.html

Just as corkshoppe stated you may be better off finding if you have the necessary wiring in place to add a bluetooth adapter instead of trying to replace the phone. However, if you do decide to go with the bluetooth adapter make sure it is compatible with your current cell phone.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

I did some Google searching, I have the Nokia 6091 install (or lack of). Reading a few posts by others, it seems the 6091 doesn't lend itself well to being upgraded?

Yes indeed. No easy upgrade possible. And only gsm 900.

Cheers, Frank
