I replaced the tandem pump. Removed the engine fan and the driver side air box for access. Now #7 misfire comes back like crazy. Didn't interrupt the coolant circuit during the process. What's just happens?

I sprayed CRC electronics cleaner onto the ground wire and the coil harness. The problem disappeared for 2 days. It came back today so I'm going to try the DeoxIT.

Did you every figure this out? I did and have the same exact thing...#7? BTW, how did you get the fan shroud off without removing the coolant lines?

It was the restricted coolant flowing problem. One nipple broke and stuck inside coolant hose. I was lucky on finding that broken nipple.
The fan can be removed through the bottom route. Keep wiggle and eventually it will give away.

Not sure what you mean by a nipple causing the restriction...can you explain further or show what you are talking about. Also, thanks...did not know the shroud can be taken out from the bottom. I still have this #7 misfire and can't figure it out. I do know the engine cooling fan is not turning on any longer even though I have proper voltage from the plug that powers it. I ordered a new one and hope that it will fix this #7 misfire, as I believe it can cause such a misfire. Even so, I would like to understand better about your solution.

There was a piece of plastic stuck inside the hose at the marked location Attachment 417674
