Are the ABC pumps the same for all 03-06 W220 models?

I'm 95% sure they're all the same pump. W215 or W220, Coupe or saloon, V8 or V12, I think they use the same. I checked several online vendors, and the model applicability covered all models of that generation. There are lots of good sources these days.
Only problem is getting the old one out. I would drop the front of the front sub-frame. let us know how you get one.

I suspect all are basically the same up to the change to mount the pulsation damper to the pump with only nuanced differences per power plant used (if any).
Pay close attention to Nick's advice.

Upon further investigation, please see attached WIS instruction for R&R the PS pump. Step #23 says pump comes out through the top? Nick, does that sound correct?? It appears to be straight forward but I am probably missing something.

The procedure makes it sound simple, but the reality is that its difficult. I've never removed the ABC/PAS reservoir before (well worth cleaning out apparently), and I guess that helps a lot. There would be no way of removing it downwards. The AC compressor and lots of pipes get in the way. Please let us know how you get on.
