Question regarding values when lowering the car via Das !!
Hi everyone, been trying twice now to lower the car about an inch via Das and having hard time with it. We get it to where it needs to be and my mechanic saves the values but after driving it, it goes right back up to where it was originally. Anyone has any experience with it ?? My mechanic says on how the values are right in the middle

Although this references the E Class I believe you are running into the same issue. You should be able to follow the instructions in the first post and have it stick.

Hi everyone, I am trying to mount a 2003 S55 complete exhaust system (after CAT) to my 2001 S500. IS this possible? without cutting or welding anything? I see that the mounts appear to be in the same spot, but I am not sure if the exhaust to CAT mounting is the same. (I know I also need to cut the rear bumper cover for the AMG exhaust tips)Has anyone done this? any help would greatly be appreciated.

it will require cutting welding and adapters to match them together
see the detailed video on how to do it here

Great job,
Thanks a lot, I am planning on replacing the tip (the mounting end to the Cat.) with one from the 2001-2002 so it will mount right to my Cats. Since I live in California I can not legally remove any cats so I want to adapt the S55 Cat to mount on to my smaller pipes (after the cat). I hope I can do it. Thanks again for the help I have this S55 exhaust system sitting around for 6 months now.

By the way did you have to do anything with the mounting area of the pipes? (the shiny wall behind the exhaust pipes). I see the S55 has two pipes going back (wider) where as our S500 is basically one pipe (after the mount).
