hey everybody I would like to put some new shoes (20”) on my S class but I want to keep it classy. Maybe even some bigger OEM if they make them. Anybody have any pics of what they did or suggestions?
Don't have any pictures of my car's wheels and tires, per se...they're the factory S600 18" non-staggered set up. Very nice looking, in my view.
I think the 18" gives you the best ride/performance balance. The car rides very well. It handles very well. The 19" will give you a slight edge in handling and looks, but at the cost of ride. 20" is more of that.
I went with Michelin AS 3+ in 245/45R18. Great tires. I road trip the car to New England. If I know it's going to snow, etc. I take my truck, but I've been surprised in the MB. The Michelins aren't what you would call "good" in snow, no all-season can be, but they suck less, and are less dangerous, than pure summer tires like the Pilot Sports.
I like the AMG wheels a lot. The others that you posted look sweet but I wouldn’t want to live with them. Aftermarket wheels like that are prone to damage. They’re often not as strong as genuine wheels. In the 20 and higher sizes, they’re going to both ride terribly and damage easily.
Here is my car up on the lift. The S600 wheels are unique. A much more luxury look than the AMG but it fits with the car.
Yeah the AMGs look nice, but ill keep them as like winter wheels, ill probably get one of those styles, it all depends, if you get a wheel from a cheap seller, $100 a wheel, then yeah i agree with you, but if you get nice wheels, say Vossens, those are very qood quality and build, just my opinion.

That jack is incredibly stable. It holds the car at four points, and there is a mechanical lock so that it's not reliant on hydraulics. Way better than a set of jack stands.
