Armored glass

Hello
I was thinking about buying a S 600 Guard. All the ones i found under one million ruble have broken glass. What is part number for windshield ? Front left glass? Can parts be found? Expensive?
Thanks)

This is mainly a forum with usa owners and very few Guard models were sold here . The ones that do sell used sell for well over one million Russian ruble

Unless you can find a wrecked or junk car to take the glass cheap , the price of new glass will be more than the value of the car

The standard OEM glass for a 2001 and up W220 and 221 the windshield has 'Infrared reflecting' layer and costs some $1800 for a replacement. All the windows are laminated with similar properties and front side one is over $300 just for the glass pane.

It cheaper than I thought. Car is made by Trasco or Guard I think. Can I order directly from them, or do you know where I can order. Thanks)

"...standard OEM glass..." is not the armored glass - it is the standard glass that comes in any standard W220.

Do you live in a war zone? Why do you want this type of glass?

No I do not live in dangerous zone, but it is personal situation that makes I should better buy an armored car. Plus, it is same price as regular S600 I already wanted to buy

I got an answer from Trasco. I don't think I will buy it))

Dear Sir,

Pricing can range from approx. 3.000 – 8.000 € for a door glass and anywhere from 10.000 – 20.000 € for a windscreen, this is just a guess. To give the actual price we need the information on the glass.
