Strut bars, strut tower brace

Strut bars, strut tower brace who sells them for w220 s600? I desperately need them before I destroy the chassis like I usually do to all my vehicles unless I have strut bars installed. Someone must know where I can get a set

Mercedes
Search eBay for w220 strut brace

note that the added height of intercooler on s600 may require you to remove the plastic rear engine cover or bend the brace for extra clearance

I've searched all over the web and this seems to be the only brand that offers strut bars for the s-class. I keep reading that they are for the s320. Will it fit my 2006 s600?

OK I suppose that covers the front strut bar, now what about the rear?

No one makes a rear strut tower brace. And that’s the only option for a front strut tower brace

the important thing is that the width is correct to fit the strut towers. For your S 600 you may need to bend it in the middle to give you additional height clearance, or maybe just removing the plastic rear engine cover will give you enough clearance

'94 SL600,'05 SL600,'06 S65,'07 E63,'14 E63S,'09SL600 all sold, ‘15 S65,‘18 E63S,'17 SL65, '17S65Cab
The car pictured in the ad for the brace has an Airmatic suspension. The air lines are visible coming off the top of the strut towers, An S600 has ABC. Compare the picture with your V12 to assure the towers will accept the brace.

Screw it, I'm buying them. If it doesn't fit then I'll have something fabricated. At least I'll have the mounts that bolt onto the shocks to build off of. I can't believe ultra racing is the only company that offers a strut bar for the w220 platform. There are ao many models and such little aftermarket support. I have to say im quite disappointed, especially coming from the 240sx scene. Aftermarket support for the s13 and s14 are tremendous. If only mercedes had just half that kind of suoport, sigh.......

There might just be two reasons for the lack of aftermarket support for the W220. One - There are so few people who abuse the W220 that there is not a viable market. Two - The W220 doesn't need the add-ons, so there is not a viable market.

I can't even find simple urethane bushings for the w220 😭 it's so sad! I hate how sloppy my car feels. Abc suspension is cool and all but with the amount of cheap rubber bushings on this car, what's the point! The s600 and I'm assuming all the s-class has like 100 bushings and all cheap rubber. I can't imagine the chassis not twisting. It's a 2 ton car taking corners with a whole lot of torque behind it. Maybe mercedes drivers don't care about the slop in thier suspension but I do and it's killing me looking for parts that don't exist 😭
