Is it just me or..??Does the front end look alot shorter almost snubbed, or chopped, off compared to the current model? Also those wheel flares look far to reminiscent of a late model mustang! I think the entire new design looks like a MAJOR BANGLE.....Just my .02 
I'm not even going to start with what I think of the trunk??they've got to be kidding!!!

Looks cool.
Somewhat resembles W211 in a larger scale, actually the whole concept is more like mix of W220 with W211.
The thing that I hate is a Beemer style trunk
and Korean/Japanese style headlamps are 
.
Otherwise W221 looks all right.

I like it.
front gets 10/10 -- it looks better than the current w220. especially the curve of head lamps.
rear gets 8/10 -- unnecessary raised trunk, the current w220 rear is sleeker.
sides are plain and bored but ok. 6/10
(no sidemarker lights?, no side moldings)
top gets 10/10 -- pano roof is great.
front gets 10/10 -- it looks better than the current w220. especially the curve of head lamps.

I think Hans G has taken liberties to interprete what the S class design will look like? However remember the model before the W220? Why not a evolutionary design, the current model in my opinion is the best in quite a few design changes. This evolution in design has worked well for the Lexus line! With fewer problems of a totally new car, MB would not alienate current W220 owners.

If you want to see what the new S-Class that will be released in September of this year yes this year just look at the CLS500 series. Just a little bigger is all. "So all those spy chops" some real some fake look no further. In fact pick up the last issue of Motor Trend and you will see it.

That back end is hideous. However, the front is pretty nice. Looks a little too much like an Acura though. If it ends up looking anything like the new CLS class it'll be hot. That is one of the BEST looking cars I've ever seen. I wish I could afford one of those when they start selling. They'll be a great selling car, I'll bet. Beautiful. They should model the S after that one. For that matter, they should model the C-class fater it as well.
