Thumbs up Prolly the nicest S-class I've ever seen.. wow.

Sorry for the random thread, but I came across this S-class on e-bay... I don't think I've ever seen an S-class this nice before...

I think it's the rims that do it... 22"... I wonder how it rides with wheels that big.

What do you guys think? (BTW, not considering buying... if I could, I would.)

Not feeling the kit, looks like a whale.

And the wheels are not nearly wide enough in the rear, they look like HRE's but I think the owner skimped on doing research on what was the correct offset in the rear.

Reminds me of an Imperial Stormtrooper.

The rims are kind of cool I guess... in a Los Angeles 2001 kind of way.

Yuck. Nothing that's been done to the outside of that car is an improvement. I wonder what those clown wheels did to the ride and handling of that car?

Beyond stupid.

that car is hot, the only thing i would change would be the front fenders and those cuts in the side skirts.

too each his own....the glasses comment wasnt necessary.....that being said, this is what is commonly referred to as a "ghetto" look. It works really well with certain "chicas" or "sisters". It has been on ebay multiple times....has not sold obviously.

Hah. The "ghetto look"? I guess so w/ the huge wheels, but I've definitely seen cars which more accurately fit that description... At least the mods that have been done to it are of quality... It's not like the car is wrapped in tin foil to get that "bling" look.

*shrug* I'm not a fan of tacky, chromed out, wheel-spinning "g-rides," but I really think this car looks pretty nice.

Is that the Lorinser kit? I don't dig the wheels and the side fenders. The bumper looks alright.

But whatever floats your boat right?

that comment comes off as a little derogatory.
the car, wheels, and kit are all european, how does that combination come off as 'ghetto'? if it can be generalized as anything, i would say maaaybe japanese VIP style, if anything. i have no issue with someone liking or disliking different styles of customization, or lack thereof, and voicing their opinion. what chaps my *** is comments like the 'chicas' or 'sisters' one... that can be generalized as 'classless'

Interpretation? Lets see who's interpreting what...get your camera and go to any place where all types of people congregate. snap pictures of the type of person you describe as "ghetto". Then do the same for what you described as "chica" and "sista". Then we'll see who's letting the little things "chap your ***"

As far as the insecurity comment, save the pseudo psycho-the-rapist crap for the teenage girls you troll the malls for. They might be impressed. Insecurity has nothing to do with being easily offended, genius. People get offended when you do or say something offensive - such as your derogatory statements

PS- Its chafe, not chap...but it doesn't surprise me that you need to be corrected, again
