WOW! That is what I was looking for. Read previous posts - I was looking for 20" AMG that were AMAZING looking............ I will also ONLY buy an AMG wheel for my car. I like Brabus - but AMG for me!

What are those babies going to run for? $1000 a pc?

THose are my favorite ones on the MB-amg site. I just wish they would show a zoomed out view of what the rims would look like with the whole car? If you get them you MUST post pics

I have been quoted $1500 ea... But I will let you know if and when I order them. My MBusa sources have said that they are not available until end of first qtr. 07. However, a good friend in Germany K. Rausch is geting them for me now. We will see... meanwhile, I have just aquired a set of 20" AMG from the S65. So, my 19" are available w/ Conti-2... 287 miles on them.

Cheers,
Prio

Hey, inside sources in Germany are always helpful when items aren't out yet in US I am assuming that 1500 USD means without the rubber?

$1500 x 4 = $6000 plus $1400 in tires (I imagine $350 per tire) = $7400 for new shoes......... wow!

The only thing I don't like about the new AMG wheels is that boss on the edge with the logo. I would think it would detract from the look, especially when the car is moving at low speeds.

I would definitely get designo espresso for that kind of money, but I would also pay a premium to have AMG style aftermarket rims than brand X 28" rims on spinners that are clear and have gold etc Besides there are three on that AMG site that I think look better than 99% of any rim on the market

I just dont understand how it could cost $1500 per wheel - I suppose thats not a lot when you pay for an S Class - but seriously - it's still VERY pricey.

Again, thats what I have been quoted... FYI- I paid that much for AMG 2 piece wheels 2 years ago for my previous S-Class. I am actually surprised that the current 20" AMG (S65) are so affordable about $600 each.

I will be sure to post the real cost as soon as I know.

Cheers,
Prio

True. The new S65s are affordable. You can get them on Tirerack.
Those ones you showed us above really are very nice. There are another set of 20s on that site which are great also. Hard to decide. In any event, i'd wait for Tirerack to get them - they are always priced better than AMG or Dealers.

Those are nice, but not for me. The spokes are a little too skinny, and it's a little bland.

The last two on that list of wheels on the site I like the most. If only they came in anything bigger than 19".

We just got lucky that the rim reelestates is looking for was the one they had a pic of. I just used my grab utility and got the image, which happened to be a .tiff , so I used my graphic converter to make it .jpg

I wish i had PS skills like that, I could see why you guys would think that since this pick is obviously off a bit since you can't even see the brakes... great looking photo though (current background)

You are ALL going to think im stoned - but......... Does it not look like the area where it says AMG on that wheel................. is more like a scratch? You know when you hit a curb, and there is an ugly scuff mark on the wheel? Take a look where the AMG badge is on that wheel - and from a quick look - what do u think?

It does look funny, when I take a quick glance I think it looks like a tire weight (those old style ones they put on the outside). I think the picture doesn't do them justice though, in real life I bet they are AMAZING

I think i like the other AMG 20" better. Its the other one on the brochure.
Not sure i can get over that AMG badge being on the outer rim like that. Everytime i look at it - i think theres a scuff.

That image was one of the first MB promotion images as I remember when they first showed the AMG models.

Yes, you're right. This picture is photoshopped as the original one is with 19" wheels. Therefore you shouldn't judge the 20"ers by looking at this fake picture.

Here is the real one..
