What is the color of this S550?
Hi all,
Can someone tell me what color this is and how good does it look on the car in person?

Unforunately, the color of the car on the smaller size pic doesn't look like the original of the pic........I downloaded from mbusa site.

Andorite is a beautiful color, but it does look very different depending on the lighting conditions. I had originally planned on getting this color, but changed my mind. First I saw the car a few times in the dealership under artificial light and the bluish-green tone started to bother me a bit. But I dismissed that as artificial light, and figured it didn't matter what my car looked like in a showroom anyway.
But then I saw two andorite cars in northern CA on a trip in overcast conditions and I didn't like it.
On the other hand, the two andorite cars I've seen locally under sunny/partly cloudy sky looked fantastic. Much more grey than blueish-green. And it looks great on the S-class brochures, which is how we got interested in that color in the first place.
But if you look at the overhead shot of the S600 in the first couple of versions of the brochure you can see some of the bluish-green tint in that shot.
So anyway, I decided to change the color. But it's obviously a personal decision based on your taste in colors. But my only advice would be look at this color in different lights because it definitely affects how it looks.

I think it's regular iridium silver metallic, it's just lighting that makes it look so.
