Bubble in Wheel
I have the upgraded 19 9 twin spoke wheels, and my dealer informed me that it is most likely from hitting a pothole and that it is not covered under warranty.
I am just wondering if there is any truth in what hes telling me, and if anyone else had problems with their wheels such as myself.

I went to the dealership complaining about it and they, without questioning, placed a new tire on for me at no charge, but when I picked the car up that afternoon, they said that the wheel had been bent. They did not back up on their promise and I walked away without having to pay. I kind of doubted their reasoning but it dawned on me that I did hit a large pothole a few weeks earlier on some rough interstate (which was repaired 2 months ago).
Fast forward 10 months and I had my tires balanced and sure enough, while I was watching the tech balance my tires, he was spinning the left front wheel and it in fact had a bent area on it.

So, they were right afterall. That's not to say that a tire couldn't be defective , but in my case it was in fact due to a hard hit into a pothole.
Like I've said before, my dealership is the best car dealership I've ever been to, bar none. They are always bending over backwards to keep me happy. That's why I keep buying Benzes

I know it makes it ride rougher with high pressure , but my tires tend to cup at the values they request and I also get about 8 to 10K more miles out of them. I'm at 20K miles and my front tires still look great. My wheels are staggered so I don't get the benefit of rotation. Anyway, I developed a shudder a month ago, had my tires balanced to see if that would clear the problem, the problem did not dramatically improve but when I placed the extra 7 lbs in the tires, the problem stops immediately. Also, the type of driving I do is very curvy roads so I feel the extra tight pressure keeps them from rolling along the outer sides.
