Car came in today..

Project Includes,
Wald Body Kit including Fenders and Exhaust
Remote Start
Asanti Custom Built 22's With Pirelli Tires
Lorinser Trunk and Roof Wing
Tint

What's the advantage of running 285 in the back instead of 295? Is there less of a rubbing issue?

yes.. i usually like to go as wide as we can.... but there are little tabs on the back bumper and the inner lip of the rear fender that rub, i do trim the tabs and the inner lip... But to be perfectly safe i like to go a size skinner.... if he puts 2 people in the back and stuff in the trunk its going to sit lower..... It also depends on the Offset of the wheel (how close it is to the fender)...

I have used the 295's... just depends on what wheel im using and what brand tire... all 295's are not the same all the time.... and a few millimeters can make a huge difference...

Regarding the bumper, are there any issues with the support foam? i.e did it need to be changed? Does this car not have parking sensors? How is that integrated with the new bumper.

yes... but we always test fit everything... so it all goes on... then off.. then paint... then on again...

So, in the end this car is going to look like (or better than) an S63/65, but..... won't perform like one, right?

Are you thinking about changing out the engine too?

Well every person is different... This guy does not care about driving fast, or 0-60 times.... He feels looks are more important than speed.... If he wanted an 63/65 he could of went that way too....
