2007 Mercedes S320
Hey, my autoelectrician installed it as per instructions. Apparently, the Problem is that each headlight has 3 modules, one of which is the Xenon Module, otherwise known as XALWA L +R (for left and right).
This module needs coding to tell it to become active for things like active cornering, highway mode, and other ILS functions. Am going to see a MB Specialist soon as this kind of coding to the front SAM needs to be done in Developer Mode, as MB cant do it using standard STAR diagnostics. Will keep you posted.

Does anybody know a place where I can order these headlights and get them delivered to the UK? I have the 2007, I am considering the Carlsson DRL's that go on the lower bumper. But the ones this OP has seem much more authentic.

who is this mysterious guy that sell this stuff???? i need the whole kit right now. i might just as well return new DLR headlights that i just got yesterday and get the set from him instead... with wiring harness, modules and all that. WHAT $$$$ ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HERE????

2011 AMG Sport Conversion
Why Pay 80K-90K for minor changes. Just spend 5-10K to have damn near the same car. I have a 2007 and my upgrades are far cheaper then buying a 2011.
I haven't done the lights yet and may, I won't. I hear they have a headlight coming out that doesn't require a new sam or wiring harness ect...

Well the old headligts look like **** and cheap compared to the new style.It is not only the LEDs it as the hole design..And I dont pay that much for the change so it is totally worth it.
But where have you hear that btw ? Very intresting if it works with all features and have the same look as the originals ?

I'm also currently retrofiting facelift headlights and I'm also currently experiencing some issues. I recently found out that one of the XLAWA is deffect so I'm waiting for a new one... anyway, does anyway has an experience with correct coding of the SAM unit or anything else? I dont wanna any modules or anything that isn't original, I want it to be the same way like it would be installed from factory... I have a new sam - already coded, I know I have to buy a new headlight switch in order to use enhanced fog light function part number A2219053600 but what else. As I said my SAM was already coded, so low beam, high beam, night vision, DRL - all do work except ILS functions, maybe the new XLAWA ECU will solve it, but I honestly doubt that it will be so easy... previously in this thread there was mentiond that someone has also got all the stuff already coded and also had to do some magic with star diag. can I pleas know what it should be? If nothing works, I'll try to make a completly new SCN coding at local MB dealer, maybe that will help
