2010 headlights conversion
NY damaged my bumper due to the tight parking. The $$$ will be spent on repairing my bumper now
I will work on it some more. In retrospect, the installer did say that the wiring harness and the precoded SAMs work like a charm and cut their job by 1/2.

A member on this forum pointed me to a vendor in Germany whom I shall not name here, but you are all welcomed to PM me for the source. Don't forget to let the guy know that you heard it from me. Anyway, this vendor claims to sell a "plug-n-play" kit for the headlights conversion which include a set of 2010 headlights, a set of wiring harness and 7 (yep, you read it right: SEVEN) new precoded light modules. So, all one basically needs to do is get to a merc mechanic/shop and replace everything and you should be good to go.
Since my kit was shipped from Germany only 2 days ago, and I am stuck in China on business at the moment, I probably won't be able to take a look at it for another week or so at least. But rest assured, I will post lots of pics of the install.
In the meantime, please enjoy these photos taken by the seller before the package left Germany 2 days ago:
Left headlight

Right headlight

The all elusive "plug-n-play" wiring harness and install instructions...

4 of the 7 new modules!

Let's cross our fingers and see how painless this conversion is going to be. The taillights conversion had been a nightmare....(let's just say I had 2010 module, but the mechanic still insists to hardwire the taillights but he got them to work in the end so.....)
i happen to be a new member, came across your tread. i too was very keen to fit a face lift kit for my S350 too. would be great if you could also pass on the contact info of the supplier together with an idea of the costs, i treat that would help me greatly. by the way, how did your headlights intelligent light interface and high beam issue work out?. hope all's well by now. cheers

have a nice day
I will be able to help but I am waiting for the headlight harness and mirrors to arrive from Master Tuning. Its been a bit of a nightmare communicating with him. It was shipped over a week ago but he shipped it by mail. Why would anyone ship expensive parts that way is beyond me.
So 18 days later I am still waiting. So if you are patient I would be able to direct you. Otherwise there are others here who have the conversion. I purchased the headlights, controllers and tail lights locally. So be patient, as I don't direct you one way then find out it does not work. Thanks
