Retrofit 2010 Tail lights And Headlights on 07-09 S Class?
First of all I want to thank all of you in advance for you invaluable insights. As this my first post, I have been visiting for months before deciding to buy a 2008 S63.
Now the fun part starts. I am interested in swaping out the front headlights, rear tail lights, fog lights, front and rear bumper for the new led headlights, tail lights and daytime running led lights.
I have read about the tail lights on the forum and it seems that I will try the install via SAM module route. So I am ok with this.
But I am not so clear on the headlights and DRL. What do I need? How does one swap out the fog lights for the daytime running leds. Do the new headlight contollers take care knowing the fog lights are gone?
Also noticed that Bekkers has the headlights but the pricing seems much higher then other ones. Is it because it includes the controllers and bulbs?

I have a mechanic who has a Star system who will help me but I need to assemble all the components.

Front headlights "with Night Vision". = 1361,00 Euro
7x headlights Control units with wiring = 1760,00 Euro
About $4000 for everything
