warranty question
As an aside, it appears you are not the first owner. As such, I have personally found M-B warranty folks won't budge a bit or even give you the time of day once the months/miles are eclipsed. I have driven M-B for nearly 25 years (new, leased, pre-owned) and found brand loyalty today means diddle to them, if looking for "help" after warr. expiration. I had six months time, but over miles. Even the tone of the "no" was not kind. Get everything you can find done w/in the written warranty.

Watch outs? Both main "bladders" in the active contour seats are shot/leaking. M-B said "see ya" when I asked for warr. help. I had a launch S500 and a 2001 S430, 1995 S320 and 1989 E320 since the late '80's. So far, overall headaches on this platform fewer, but surely costlier.
