Hello fellow members of W221 section, havent posted anything for while(i am from W220 section), but anyways i finally got myself w221 this summer. Long story short i wanted to get s550 since march 2010, but had enough amount for it in june, so since june to august ive been trying to find perfect s550 for myself which Black on Black with atleast wood steering wheel. Since june i started going to different auctions, but everytime i found black on black it wouldnt have wooden steering wheel, or it would be black on beige etc. And i got to the point where i would wake up in the middle of the night because i had a dreams of me driving it . So on august 13th i was so frustrated that i decided to just go find one even out of state pay for shipping and get it asap. So i took delivery of it on september 13. That day i went to bed around 4am and woke up at 6am because i couldnt sleep. Every minute felt like an hour, i kept calling my friend who is dealer asking him if my car is there yet. I was calling him every 30 min and between calls i was thinking of something to do to keep myself busy and so time will pass faster(you know how it feels when waiting for something so bad).
So here i am at 4pm leaving hair salon after getting my haircut done, entering ****ing Toyota Corolla (rental car), all depressed that my car hasnt arrived yet, thinking to myself "Why? Why so long? Why me?" and then "**** everyting let me go to Quiznos and get some big-a$$ sub with chicken soup". 34 seconds later my phone rings, caller-id says "BEN" (name of my friend dealer). My hands start shaking. And after i slide "slider" to the right(iphone) i hear these 4 magical words "YOUR BENZ IS HERE". I almost pissed in my pants(i was that happy). So i gunned to rental place all the way to the other side of town. Called taxi and went all the way to other side of town. As i was driving by dealership i, without noticing screamed at a driver to "stop" because we passed the place by 1 block. I threw at him a "bill" (later i found out that it wasnt a "20" it was a ****ing "100" DAMN IT!!)
and ran like a crazy to the dealership. And FINALLY, there it was my 2007 s550.

My Girlfriend who is now my wife had a photo shoot. I was there as a spectator, but photographer kept telling me that he like my style etc and asked me if he can take pics of me and girl together. I was ok with that, so after he finished with that and we were about to leave, he so my car and felt in love with it. So we ended up shooting me my girl and my car till 2am

Couple of months later my parent came to the U.S. to visit me, and when my dad saw my new car he wanted one too, so i got one for him and took pic of 2 s550s together before i shipped it. Here are these beauties together

Yeah and lastly right before i shipped it i told my dad that i am going to retrofit mine to 2011 s63. 5 min later i regreted that, because my dad asked me to put everything on his car before shipping. So 5 hours before truck came to pick up the car and deliver it to shipping company, i ask friend of mine to put all bumpers on rapidly, so i wont pay extra to ship those

Front was 1600 with leds included, there is guy who sells them on ebay, his name is partsworld... Something. He advertised here not too long time ago, pm me if you need his contact

 

Was going too but 5000$ just for headligths doesnt sound very good to me, especially when there is no 100% way to get them to work. I found couple of guys who sell headlights with modules for like 2000$ in dubai, my cousin going over there at the end of this week, so if he negotiate price till like 1300-1500, i ll get them
