I got Ghost on my car
Got the links today from Ghost Motor Sports. To be honest, I think they are overpriced for what they are but it lowers our cars, and it's adjustable so they're worth it.
The fronts took me 20 minutes for both sides, none of the riims came off. I jacked my car up one side at a time and made sure the keys were far away and did not open the door or else the sensor can get screwed up.
The rear was a PITA, took me 45 minutes just to pop it up.
Then I spent another 45 minutes just playing with the settings, I got tired of jacking the car up and down so I'm going to leave it the way it is for now and mess with it some more tomorrow.
The rear needs to come up another 1/2" to make it looks balance. I'm getting some rubbing over bumps and corners too hard. The front is good not rubbing but I bet once I get my camber kit on and straighten it out I might have some rubbing. Probably going to have the fenders rolled.
What's nice about this is even though the car is lowered the bottom doesn't seem very low, it just tucks but still sit high. The ride is pretty much the same as stock as far as I can tell.

Looks great!
Congrads! Are you riding 22's or 20's?
Does the instructions tell you if you want to drop it x inches, set the link xx mm?
Thanks.

If you look at the rear where the corner of the bumper is attached to the quarter panel. You'll see a small metal tab. Trim that off and it should solve the rubbing. That's what I had to do when I had rubbing issue. you should bring the front lower and leave the rear how it is. Looks good

On the airmatics, you can adjust the height going over 50 and once you hit something like 75 the "raise" feature disable and the car lowers again. Can we disable this feature as a whole and keep the car raise no matter what speed? If I'm going to keep it low, I want to be able to do this in case I have a full load. Especially once I get my camber adjusted rubbing on long trips won't be fun.
It seems like a lot of the driver rear is rubbing, the passenger is ok I had my wife in the car so I'm not sure why. Maybe driveway isn't level. What I find is you don't really have to drive 1/4 miles as stated. Just get out of the car and hit the raise button let it raise for a few second and turn it off the car levels itself.

Just hit the rasie button and your car would bring itself up to about 1-2 inches? I sometimes just hit the "C" mode and the rear goes up a bit more when I have a lot of ppl in my backseat? I don't think you can disable the auto raise/lower function. Btw it's a kool feature. Why disable it? IMO

Phat, what did you use to trim the tab? I think I see what you're talking about. It's a very small piece of metal that's part of the quarter panel right where the rear bumper and panel meets.
However, it doesn't seem like that's what rubbing. But I'm going to do it anyways to eliminate the possibility of that being the culprit.

I used a dermal and grind it down.

This is where I stand as far as height goes. I'm still getting rub at this height over certain bumps on the road. Tabs are bent in, the wheel shop checked the wheel out and said the rims are the correct offset and did mentioned the tabs phat was talking about but when they felt the tab he said they were pushed in so it shouldn't rub. Not sure what else I can do to get rid of the rubbing especially after I get the camber kit on.
Fronts are 245/30/22 and rears are 295/25/22, the tire walls are flushed to the rims with this, not sure if 285/25/22 would look right. I think it looks ok the way it is now but would be nice to flush the tires with the fenders

That looks still high for some reason? You can use 285/25/22 and it will look fine. When I first bent my tab in. I was still getting rubbing. I had to really grind it down. My rear wheel offset is 42 et. With 295's and it is so flush to the fender you can't even put a finger in the fender. You can also look at the tire to see where the rubbing is?

I got fed up and went at the car with an aluminum bad, I put an angle on it and started rolling the fenders. I lowered the car by another 3/4" all around and I notice less rubbing that previous. But over large bumps going faster, I get rubbing. I think I'm going to find a show with a fender roller and have 'em roll it all out for me.

Hi guys,
I'm going to do the ghost on my S550 but I had some questions for you guys.
I got the instructions from ghostmotorsports and I was reading through them.
So the instructions recommends that the vechicle but parked and resting on it's tires when installing the links. I'm doing an DIY project so i don't have access to a lift that will lift the tires too.
HOw did you guys manager to do it by jacking up the car? Did it cause issues?
Also the back is just one link?
Thanks.

You don't need to jack the car all the way up. For the front,if you turn the wheel all the way R/L. You can pop the links off. As for the rear,it's only one link. But that link is harder to get to because space is tight there.

For the rears, jack the car up on one side and put some kick stand under to be safe, I just used the stock jacks.
One key note is to make sure you have the doors closed and keep it closed until you put the new links on. If you open the door while the links are off the car will try to take measurement and screw up your sensors reading.
Be prepared to be under the car for quite some time, your arms will be in some ackward position eventually you'll find the sweet spots.
