The OEM wheels are forged. The improved strength is Kind of important when you have a car with enough torques to spin a small planet backwards...

They are forged and they look way better than the fakes. The repos just look wrong, the spokes are too straight, lip is too thin, and the angles are wrong. I think they look decent if they are not mounted on the car, once they are on, they just look cheap.

Yes I did find and purchase another set. The key is to search the interweb for folks upgrading the stock AMG 20's to 22's . There are alot of them through northern and southern California.
It also goes without saying that all of the wheels had some amount of Curb rash
and needed to be repaired..
I totally agree you can spot the fakes a mile away..
