The Roof and Trunk spoiler Dilemma
Hey guys, I know everyone has there own tastes, likes, advice and opinions on wheels, tires, body kits, colors, too much bling, not enough bling, no bling, 20s, 22s, stock etc. With that said, I put the roof and rear spoiler on my S class thinking I would like it. It really took me a while to get used to it because in my opinion the spoilers broke up the smooth lines from the roof to the truck which I thought made the car classy and sexy as hell. Now with the roof and trunk spoiler that gave a more sporty look. it took me a while to get used to the new look and after a couple months I thought no more of it and kinda liked it. But just recently I looked at some old pics without the spoilers and compared. I think I want to take them off to get that sleek smooth look again. maybe I just not feeling it anymore. But dayum, those spoilers wasn't for free n I wanna get my monies worth, but I guess I could sell them. THOUGHTS? keep on or take off. humm...leave one on? Thanks for your opinions!!!

I think it looks good...others may say that it destroys the car (just like how I put a sport grill on my s550). The main thing is that you're happy with it and what you think of it.

Personally I'd get rid of both as the car is/was classy and elegant as it was intended to be before the spoilers and IMHO the spoilers detract from the sleek looks of the car... If you've got to keep one, I'd definitely get rid of the roof spoiler. The roof spoiler to me looks a bit like those covers some people install over their side windows. Just my $ .02
Nice car and rims BTW. Next time, I recommend that you pair silver with the pano roof for a more unique and a bit sportier but still elegant and understated look...

Thanks guys for the comments, all are welcome. I've decided to take the roof spoiler off and once I did, there was an immediate drastic appearance change...for the better and I mean immediate. That smooth sexy lineage returned. I'll see how I like it with just the trunk spoiler for now. Thanks again for the help!!!!

I sort of have the same problem, I think the problem is that your spoiler style somehow doesn't look right for the car.
But I actually kind of like the roof spoiler. I only have the trunk lid on mine now but I might take it off and get just the roof spoiler.
U got the rims and the drop so either way would look good but if it's stock rims and stock height, I say leave it all stock.

I think as you say it gives the car a more sporty look but the rest of the car gotta match also, it would look stupid on a stock s class with 17" inch wheels:-)
I got both roof and trunck on mine also but in carbon fiber...

The spoilers definitely works with your theme and looks good I might add, I guess if mine was kitted out then yeah, it seems without the kit, they just done seem right. Anyways, your S is sick!

Thanks, I've since taken both off in which I like hella better. The smooth lines from rear window to trunk shouldn't be tampered with...its flawless as is and of course in my opinion. Gonna sell the spoiler and roof spoiler soon...don't know when though.

I ordered from Ebay, fitment is good and both came painted. perfect match. I may be interested in selling you both. You see both on my car. I know I'll prolly not put them back on.

How much for both if it's good price I'll pick it up. But I rather get it painted to my color

Good choice! Your car looks elegant and classy without the two spoilers I am generally not a fan of sport wheels but I love your wheels. They go great with your car.
