So we would need to ship out the ecu? Would the dealer be able to erase or reset the tune?

 

Yes, you'll need to send your ECU to me for the upgrade. The dealer can indeed flash over the upgrade, however this is not something they'll do "just because"- they will typically only do a re-flash if MB issues a recall, or a TSB. It is, of course, your car, so you can ask your dealer to check with you first if they find your car needs a SW update.

 

Thanks for the quick response. Do you have any dyno graph or proof that the tune give the #'s that is stated. Or is that just an estimate?

 

And if for whatever reason the dealer did have a reason to reflash and overwrite it, could we send it back in to get redone free of charge?

$100.00 is the fee to re-load the tune file if your dealer flashes over it- that covers my time and return shipping.

Oh man, now I have a huge dilemma.
Eurocharged is cheaper, but this here will let me put a nice red k on my trunk lid that I wanted since my first Benz. But then if I do go kleemann ecu and since there aren't Kleemann headers available I'll have to get renntech headers and then I'll be torn between k and renntech logos on the car..... This sux

 

Cory, when will you guys have a tune for the new 4.6 turbo V8?

 

KLEEMANN has had tunes for those M278 4.7 Bi-Turbo's since that engine was released. $1695.00 +40 HP +70 TQ.

 

Cory, I have an 2011 S550 4matic AMG sport. I'd like to have the speed/rev limiter removed. Can you assist? If so, whats the process, cost, guaranty?

Kleemann is a joke, don't waste your money. They sell rebranded Diesel Power gen 1 boxes as a "kd-box" for more than the originating company sells gen 2 versions for. Anything they're advertising is a scam.
