Suspension Malfunction
After over two years of trouble free driving (118940km/73419mi).
got my first warning light, it is an arrow pointing up with a car and the word
"malfunction".
Any idea what it may be...
Its a 2007 S550 and well out of warr.
it will be a few days before it can go in and I need to be driving it.
the ride seems fine maybe a bit stiffer.
any thoughts appreciated

or better yet send it to a mechanic with a star diagnostic computer and read out the fault code. mine use to come out so often but after having the relay check and cleaned the problem do occur on rare occasion.

how much did the pump coast you and did you receive your old pump from the mechanic? keep it, where are you located? I might be able to fix it for you and reserve it as spare.

get the specification and when you do then go figure it out if you think it's easy to fix if you are not equip with experience, if you know how to dismantle the core and the pump which consist of an electronic board and a diaphragm plus the armature and the magnetic guard and solenoids plus several rotating and moving parts, and seals,, or better yet send it to your electronic/electrical mechanics and let them take care of the headache, unless your intention is you do not wish to spend or you wish to make some savings on the expenditure then be my guess and give it a shot, hopefully you don;t get burned and spend more than just sending it to an individual who have experience with this field.
