Another alternative I've come across is having it lowered at the dealership through their diagnostic system. I was going to do the links but then saw other people successfully had it lowered at the dealership so I asked mine if they minded doing that and the shop foreman came out and said he had no problem doing it. Said he had lowered a few other cars without issue. He told me to put the new wheels on and drive on over to the dealership and he'd get it dialed in perfectly how I wanted it. I'd much rather go this way than the links so I'm not introducing any aftermarket parts to my suspension.

Yes. That's another method. But remember, you'll be paying the dealer everytime you want to adjust the ride height. Unless you can get it done for free.

The dealer have lowered my car with Star and believe me, it's the only position you want your car: The lowest No need to go back to get your car raised.

Go with links if you want a low car, do Star if you are happy with a medium low car.

Here's mine lowered with Star. This is the lowest the car goes with Star.

Tobby thanks so much for that picture! I could go for the front being a tiny bit lower but other than that it looks like what I'd be happy with. I don't want my car low, I just want it low enough so the 22's look right and I'm not going off-roading with it.

I actually didn't even ask what they'd charge to adjust the height but I don't see myself needing to ever adjust it after I get it done, hopefully they're not ridiculous with it.

Actually the front is a little bit lower, the ground is not plain at the place I parked my car for the picture. You can see a couple more pictures of my car here if you like: https://mbworld.org/forums/5041924-post20.html. It look better irl I think. And the ride comfort is still quite good.

I don't now the cost, I got the lowering and wheel aligment for free from the dealer when I bought the car

The offset should be casted into the rim located as phatisfy describes.

Correct. Just look carefully because it's really small.

With that off set. I suggest u go with a 285 rear tire. Even then. You may run into rubbing issues. I would try on the wheel alone and see how far the wheel is sticking out.
