Ok fellas in order for your mirrors to work 100% you have to get the following mirror motors, they go for 67 dollars each at the dealer and you use my wiring diagram, the 07-09 motors will not work 100%, I tried my old motors and the up/down work backwards but these motors below work 100%, the memory, auto dipping, dimming , and heated all work
221 820 5542 is right/passenger

221 820 5442 is left/drivers

Here's the fix for the drivers door and it works 100%
Green is mirror plug and black and white plug into doors( that we know)

G1-W10
G2-B4
G3-W7
G5-W9
G6-B9
G7-W8
G8-B3

Passenger side
G1-W9
G2-B4
G3-W7
G5-W10
G6-B9
G7-W8
G8-B3
Remember G= greenish/bluefish plug into mirror motor, B=black plug, W= white plug

one question for you...did you end getting new motors for the mirrors as JT.S550 did or did this resolution work for your aftermarket mirror motors which were originally "defective"?

New motors were needed and re wiring were also needed. Mirrors work with all it's functions now.

Are the mirrors in this aution the same as you have received from the seller in Sweden? I want to buy a pair, but I'm kinda skeptical after reading this thread. Seems to be quite a struggle to get them to work as they should.

Those are the mirrors but if you want mirrors working 100%, I'd get these and you should have no problems

That is actually NOT the same. They are Taiwan made and not china made and suposed to be better and work right away as far as I heard.

That is almost wierdly cheap..Through your self on those, they are what they claim they are. I deal with them often. And they clearly lowered the price because of the lower price on the china mirrors. The text clearly says all electrical inc memory. But remember it does not garantie that they work 100%.

But are the wirings plug & play from the German seller? The Asian seller says that their mirrors are rewired for 2007-2009 models. So I guess the ones from Germany are not?
