How is the B&O sound system in the newer S-Classes?

How does it compare to the Harman Kardon sound system that was in the S-Class?

I have it in my MY11 ... I think it makes a considerable difference over the 09 I had with the H/K sound system .... however I still feel the Nakamichi sound in my old 91 LS400 from back in the day was the best sound system ...

Very satisfied with it. Really clear sound, but no EQ and this is bad for me.

Add a good sub to the H&K system and it wakes up considerably. You can do it all for under 500-600 depending on your sub choice. Using the AudioControl LC2i you can tap in the cars audio system. From there add an amp and sub of your choice and tune the setup. Mine sounds awesome running a single 12 sub.

Iexus nakamichi was probably one of the best sound systems for automobiles. Owned many Lexus vehicles and was always impressed with there sound . Mercedes hk is not bad at all but bangs and O sound qaulity is a step higher

I agree, great sound system. I had a Nakamichi in my 98GS400 and I always felt that was the best for some reason. When I saw you write that I had to respond. I have the H/K in my S550 and even though the B/O sounds a little better not sure it is worth the money difference

having owned about 5 lexuses in the past, i have to agree with nakamichi being the best stock audio i ever had in any car. The s550 HK is not bad but nothing compared to the nakamichi i had in the lexuses.
With that being said, i might need new tweeters for my s550. Anyone know where to find some oem o=tweeters? ebay shows none. Or can i use aftermarkets?
