Tires: Bridgestone/Michelin/Conti?
Michelin Primacy tires seem to get good reviews, but the only GT tires available for our cars are the other OE option, Pilot MXM4, which are dinged pretty good on tirerack reviews. They also don't seem to have low rolling resistance.
Then I keep hearing hardly anything but good things about the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus tires, and that they're the best overall for grand touring tires....However, I noticed that in this size, the only options are 103W rated vs. the Conti's 99H....Typical sizes for the Bridgestones seem to be H rated where a lot of the praises for low noise and comfort probably come from, but I wonder if the higher load and speed rating negates those benefits compared to the more common sizes? Has anyone tried them on W221? Any better riding option than the ProContacts?
FWIW, I had a bad experience with the bridgestone turanza on my e-class. After about 10K, the tires got really noisy, though they grip was good especially in bad weather. But the noise was the deal breaker.
Hope this is helpful.

Yes, I've seen a few reviews about the Serenitys (unsure if Plus) getting noisier as they age, not sure if common or related to load and speed rating.
Many recommendations have come for the DWS as well, more grip less comfort though? The car is riding like it's on square wheels right now so anything will be an improvement!
