Im sure that you can, its been done b4 plus the CLS 4matic and C-Class both have a factory staggered set up. Call a few dealers parts & service departments and see what they say, during my search I even called some dealers in Cali and they told me no or that they did not know....Called a few wheel places that said they do it all the time on the 4matic sclass, im sure a few others will chime in that has actually done it but I just decided against it.
Although this is not an issue with the 7 series Xdrives as you know, keep in mind the factory spec that the S-Class offers is a wider wheel/tire set up with a lower profile than the bimmers do. So basically the SClass is running a 20 inch set up as follows: 255/35/20
The 19 inch wheel set up is 255/40/19, so as you can see both are very wide with a low enough profile that if u didnt want to stagger would be suffice.
