Yeah, that sounds about $10k low for the year and mileage. Sometimes mileage is low because the car was barely driven. Other times it's low because it was sitting in a body shop for six months. Check the CarFax and have your local dealer pull the internal service history. If those are straight I'd move on the car.

S65 AMG
The S400 is a Hybrid, right? The question you want to ask yourself is if you will be happier with an S550 (all petrol car) or a Hybrid S Class.
Nothing against Hybrids but MB is in its infancy with hybrid technology and one must look into battery life and overall reliability of an S Class hybrid.
The MPG difference will be negligible. After your research drive both back to back and decide.
Good Luck!

Thank you for the feedback. I could not resist and made the purchase.
Carfax was clean and checking on the warranty: Hybrid car battery is covered under warranty for 10 yr or 150k miles.
Will get the car on friday.

No long trips yet, but on 50 - 70 mile trips I have observed 32 - 33 at very good clip. The car can get higher mpg but I gotta get more enthusiastic about mpg versus the smooth, speed of the car. It is no S550, but it is not a slug either.
Yeah, I cannot figure that out either - I would think with our current high gas prices, the diesel with high torque, high mileage capability would be very attractive, plus the car is very quiet.
