W221 (2010 S550) - Where is the TPMS Control Module
Trying to locate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control Module. The info I had was that it was under the plate in the front passenger foot well. But NO GO! It's not there.
Can someone tell me where to find it on a 2010 S550?

Yes, that is where I was told it was on my 2010 S550...but it's NOT there (I checked). A guy from the MB Parts Dept told me it was up under the dash on the passenger side around the blower motor. I pulled the cover but I could not locate it there either. MYSTERY!

So I'm back at the dealer. They called and said the TPMS module is actually mounted in the trunk behind the seat. So I drive 45-miles back here to have the module replaced and programmed. And guess what? They pulled the trunk panels out and IT'S NOT THERE EITHER! The dealer is stumped and they're going to have to go through MB to try to find this thing is they cannot trace it down manually. I gotta admit I'm a bit annoyed with this whole process, but perhaps less-so than the tech charged with this simple 1/2-hour flat-rate repair.

So, turns-out the control module on my specific 2010 S550 was mounted on a bracket under the car above the rear differential. Posting this update to this mystery in the event anyone else encounters this problem.
