So I got my headlights and they look amazing and work great. No error what so ever.
- these have the h9 non infrared bulbs. So when you switch on the lights u will see them switch on above 20kph. That's how it's supposed to work but the original bulbs are infrared so u will have modify your h11 bulbs to fit in there.
- the fitment is okay. Not that great as it has to be pushed and pulled to fit.
-the Led amber indicator is too bright. You can see the sign boards illuminating but honestly I like it.
- the projectors are all over the place. No matter how much u adjust they will never be a straight cutoff.
All in all for the price I paid I am very happy. They are good value. They are a direct fit - plug and play. Just couldn't convince myself to spend over $1k.
please note that I am the only one judging my car. To everybody else around me they are perfect and nobody can tell the difference between these and the OEM.

W221 facelif headlights retrofit
So I've been researching and reading about various ways to get the 2010-13 w221 headlights (facelift) to work on 07-09 models...
I wanted to see from people that have made the retrofit, what works best, is most cost effective, and has anyone done it with Night Vision? I have OEM 2007 night vision and curve illumination, and cornering lights.
I already bought the 2012 headlights with night vision.
Here are the methods:
1) Wiring harness, 2010-13 Front SAM, Central Gateway Module + coding
2) MBSCA (Chris the Swede) wiring harness with magic black box
3) DCT/SonicMS wiring harness
UPDATE: There is a "plug and play" system now that works with Night View Assist! Under 1K on eBay. (seller "fishcake321")
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Facelift-LE...item282c403b24
Thanks!

This is an old thread. I am not sure either Sunman or MBenzNL are still active. No response from either. Does anyone know where the Parktronic wiring harness should be routed? Where it enters the car in both the front and the back, etc?
Thanks
Thanks

vitop,
If you pick up the eBay plug and play bixenon facelift headlights, (from link above - seller fishcake321) no wiring harness needed. "plug and play," no errors, this is the night vision version which only works if your car currently has night vision.
Good luck!

The latest info I have from fishcake is that Depo is not currently producing these units, however he expects they will in the coming months. His current eBay listing shows them for $4k, which is far above what it would cost to buy all the bits and bobs to do a retrofit for the factory facelift lights, let alone the $1k for updated Depo lights. When I asked him about the price he replied with the information from Depo.

Wow, I just checked eBay, that's insane! When I bought them in 2017 they were $997 shipped!
Wonder why price increased so much????

Yes, that is an alternative I looked at but Depo does not do pre-facelift and I wanted to keep the car stock looking. fishcake321 only supplies facelift headlights. Still trying to decide the direction I want to go. There are lots of alternatives.
Thanks for your reply

Yes, I had seen that but was hoping that someone that knew them might offer some information. Sunman in particular used to be in Houston where I am.

My note from Fishcake on this is that Depo plans to produce more in the coming months. I expect his current price is due to having a couple of sets sitting around in case someone is truly desperate.

I just finished my ILS retrofit too after 3years of having them on car but not fully working (cornering and dynamic light did work) ILS funcion like highway mode and enhanced fog lights did not work, now they do and I used the genuine way. Currently Im retrofiting on my pre faclift 2007 s550 Active lane assist, Active blind spot assist, IHC - high beam assist... I also already retrofitted the facelift airmatic which is better choosing your self if you want airmatic sport or comfort.
Do you only change buttons betwen displays?
Thank you

I bought facelift headlight, taillight combo off of eBay from a guy in Ca. It didn’t have night vision or curve illum, but that didn’t bother me, as I don’t have night vision on my 07 W221. I wanted easy if install and plug and play. I’m running Phillips 6k D1S and hella 100w in the high beams. Light pattern is great and I can see farther down road just with the low beams. I also upgraded the side view mirrors and front bumper too. All plug and play.
Thanks!

Well I wish I had seen this thread a week earlier. I bought some facelift 10-13 headlights for my 08. The usual eBay listing of plug and play and no coding required. Got them in, they work fine but the DRL in the headlight does not come on during the day. Any ideas?

I purchased facelift headlights, taillights and side view mirrors on eBay as well. The drls work fine for me. I also have the “drl” option checked in the instrument cluster.

thanks for the response, I also have it checked but I thought DRL on a none facelift car was just the low beam HID’s. It’s driving me nuts!
