Here are the codes my car was showing on my cheap wireless OBD scanner before I bought it. I only scanned with with that scanner at the time because I didn't have my STAR system with me.
and here's what my plugs looked like
I immediately threw those trash plugs away and put in new ones. Just like magic, the misfire codes never came back (After clearing them properly with STAR)
What I don't get is why you would go through all the trouble to remove the coils and plugs and not install new ones, regardless of the old plugs condition. It cost me about $50 for all new plugs. Why not just do them?

You better check your checkbook balance. Remember that you don't have $150 to spend on a scan, so you likely can't afford plugs and/or coils. Although with your math skills, I'm sure money will magically appear in your account.

Uhh, no. The plugs look awful. You should go buy a total of 8 while you're getting the one plug for #1.

I think you're the third person to tell him that. I don't think he can afford 7 more plugs though, he's got fridges and steering wheels to pay for

Steering wheel is nice to look at and the fridge will hold the food he needs when the sparks fail and he's sitting on the side of the road...
Lets make sure our priorities are in the right order as Mike suggested ! sheesh...follow the thread

I never drove one. They are so cheap now but.....I don't think it would be the same now. The newer 7 series never did anything for me. Strangely enough i didn't care for the S class of that era until the refresh of 2010. A friend of mine bought a new S class back in 05' and I didn't care for it at all. I hated the interior.

Never put a spark plug that you dropped back into an engine. While it may look fine the ceramic insulator could be cracked and can destroy that piston/cylinder/valves in no time. On aircraft engines we are paranoid enough that we even use spark plug holders when outside the engine.

lol at all that ^^^^ It was worn spark plugs... Replaced them all, returned the two coil packs. Next on the list, change tranny fluid, estimate at MB.

The following day I got an invite to join DENSA. I should have just started smoking crack instead of participating in this thread. I'd be so much smarter.
